The hotel is a good alternative to Killarney when space is at a premium. All bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed for comfort and are warm and welcoming. Individually centrally heated, they each have bath and shower, telephone, radio and tv. The decor is very simple with pastel shades and light fabrics. The garden restaurant has the ambience for relaxed dining. It serves a la carte and table d'hote menus. The decor is quite dated and very plain and simple. The lobby is medium in size with a marbled floor and lots of space for luggage. There is a small seating area and lots of plants.

The hotel also has a leisure centre including swimming pool, sauna, beauty treatments and gym. The 184 bedrooms have bath and shower, radio, tv, hair dryer and are mostly medium in size with pale colours and light wood. The galleon restaurant specialises in seafood, but offers a variety of menus to suit all tastes. There is casual dining in the B Bar also . The lobby is large and decorated in cream colours. It has occasional seating and a reception desk.

A very good standard budget hotel in an excellent location in central Tralee. The bedrooms are medium sized and in good condition. They are functional and comfortable with cable television and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are of a good size and well appointed. The restaurant, which has been refurbished to very high standards and is located on the ground floor, serves Irish and Continental cuisine in a comfortable modern setting. The lobby is medium in size with dark wood panelling and a large and unusual glass chandelier. There is limited seating available.
