This beautiful villa is housed in a restored, traditional stone house of two floors(178,93 m²) in the village of Sgourokefali, close to Heraklion. The restoration was done by artisans who took care of the stone so as not to lose the character of the house. Retaining all the elements of the traditional architecture, the viilla combines respect for the traditional with the comforts of a modern guesthouse. The ground floor is surrounded by two courtyards filled with flowers and is a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the view. In the courtyard entrance (west terrace) there is an old well and stone staircase, which give a specific tone to the place. The outdoor pool is in the eastern courtyard and here guests can benefit from an outdoor BBQ and dine under the wooden pergola. There are a couple of mini markets and coffee shops in the village while 2 km away in Episkopi there are more amenities.
Agapi Villa is situated at the centre of the island on the edge of the village Episkopi. Episkopi is a traditional Cretan village in the main tourist route, which permits easy access to every corner of Crete. It is a quiet place and there are beautiful sandy beaches which are only just a few minutes away by car. Villa is surrounded by age-old olive trees and the building is based on wood, roof-tiles and stone, combining traditional architecture with modern elements. The main entrance leads to the dining area and continues to the open plan kitchen and living room, which is tastefully furnished and has an open fireplace. Above the living room is a spare room in a gallery style. At this room, there are an office, library and one single bed. There two bedrooms with double bed, one smaller ideal for children and two bathrooms. The exterior part of villa includes dining table, garden and pool.
