The ryokan is surrounded with the smell of trees, and the rich service the staff provide will entertain the customers. The background of the Yufu mountain produces the magnificent scenery. This inn has an open-air bath at the base of the Yufu mountain, providing an elegant hot spring that has a smooth touch. Although the color of the hot spring is clear at first, the color changes to blue and white by the change of the temperature and the nature's light. Kyoto like Japanese seasonal cuisine is offered. 13 rooms in all, 5 room types in the main wing and 8 room types in the annex.

It is a tasteful peasant style pure Japanese ryokan on the heights of Yufuin. All the guest rooms have outdoor baths and superb view. We serve Irori-zen or carbon grill dinner of carefully selected beef, chicken from Yufuin and yamame trout. A grand bath was newly established in August 2006.
