Cuenca is a truly original city hewn out of rock. The hotel's large windows overlook the famous Casas Colgadas (hanging houses) set on the rocks flanking Hoz del Huecar in implausible positions. It is a notable example of the late gothic style. There are 62 rooms distributed over 3 floors, the second being the largest. Some of the rooms have views over the cloister, but the most solicited are the ones overlooking the city, gorges and hanging houses.
