This is a perfect country retreat, yet provides excellent access to cities such as Leeds, York and Harrogate. Superb hotel for leisure travellers to the area. Highly recommended. With reputedly the largest log cabin in the UK as the main building, the hotel comprises of a complex of beautifully quaint log bothies (buildings). A larger double offering peace and tranquility - each room is different, but all overlook beautiful unkempt forestry and wildlife. Room are large in size with a modern decor inn-keeping with the lodge style of the hotel. Rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities you would expect of a luxury hotel. Dine in the AA rosette winning Lakeside restaurant from either our table d'hote or a la carte dinner menus. The lobby area is of a medium size with a seating area available for guests to relax in.
