Typical dishes of the region are "Pisto Manchego" (a mixed vegetable dish), las Migas de Pastor, el Mojete and los Galianos. The good quality wines are mild. El Queso Manchego (Cheese from La Mancha) is famous worldwide and also well known are las Berenjenas de Almagro (Aubergines from Almagro).
