Kedar has an attractive outdoor pool with sunbathing area as well as a terrace where guests can enjoy a drink. The hotel has an excellent spa that juts over the wetlands and offers a wide range of treatments. This historic farm hotel covers over 700 acres has been game fenced and populated with a wide variety of game. Seemingly a national park in itself Kedar is a fantastic place to get away from it all and to use as a base for exploing the excellent surrounding attractions. There are good conference facilities at the hotel as well as free parking. Excellent standard rooms are all en-suite with large beds, satellite TV, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms have very nice wooden furniture. Kedar has two good restaurants as well as the outdoor Boma dining area which can accommodate as many as 300 people. There is also the Metswedi Bar, which means drinnking giraffe. One of the restaurants specialises in South African and Afrikaans cuisine and there is also a menu with international dishes. There is a very extensive wine menu.
