General Info

It has been about 150 years since the ryokan was founded in Kyoto. This ryokan has a very classical Japanese style and offers special treatment with Japanese hospitality. The rooms are Japanese style rooms only with private bath and no beds. By day, the rooms are furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Japanese straw tatami mats. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons into a sleeping area. Hotel offers traditional Japanese cuisine, for example Kaiseki, Shabushabu, Nabe and others. Dinner to be needed reservation in advance. Japanese Breakfast is served at hall. The lobby is small in size but there is some sitting space.

Location

The ryokan is located in the center of Kyoto City. It takes 5 minutes by subway from Kyoto JR station and then an 8minute walk from the subway station.
