***The hotel is closed until 02/05/09.***Hotel Corona is the most aristocratic and hospitable 3-star hotel in all of Ischia. Its refreshing structure and its welcoming elegance is due to Countess Jolanda dâ€™Alessandro of Pescolanciano and of her lawyer, Baron husband Gabriele Buonincontri. Hotel Corona was initially supposed to be their comfortable summer residence that was to host a great number of their family and friends and in 1998 their son transformed the residence into a charming hotel. Hotel Corona's seaside bathing and helium therapy are to be enjoyed in the spacious, panoramic solarium where guests can enjoy a wide pool with jacuzzi massages incorporated, surrounded by a soft lawn covered with chairs and parasols. Under a covered structure, there are thermal baths and jacuzzis at 33-35 degrees Celsius, particularly pleasant during low season. Thermal services can also be organized and held at the 'Antiche Terme Castaldi', less than 1 Km away from the hotel. The hotel also offers a bar, restaurant, and upoin-request a masseuse and a babysitter. Almost all rooms, phone and independent services inclusive (TV and air-conditioning included upon request), are decorated with rustic furniture consisting of poor art and special ceramics that come from the best school of rod iron workmanship. Many of these rooms look directly upon the externally spacious and well-kept garden.
