Its decoration is corresponding to the hotel's traditional architectures which creates a traditional dinning environment. The restaurant not only provides western cuisine, but also typical mouthwatering Peking dishes, such as Peking duck, dumplings, noodles, lamp hotpots, etc. While having meals, guests could watch cultural performances such as the Beijing Opera and the acrobatics arranged by the hotel. The lobby is small in size, located in the main courtyard. It is also decorated and furnished in a typical traditional Chinese style.

Location

The hotel is centrally situated in the heart of the ancient city, in the "Courtyard Preservation Area" inside an old styled Hutong which means alley in the eastern part of Beijing. It is surrounded by historical buildings built in the Yuan Dynasty, where much of the buildings built duirng the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties are still preserved. It takes only a few minutes walk to the Old bell tower and Drum Tower and Shichahai lake.
