This historic hotel is situated right in the centre of the city, close to the main monuments, the cathedral, the Giralda and the area of Santa Cruz. The hotel building, which dates back to the 15th Century, is one of the most historic buildings in the city of Seville. It was one of the ancient convents which were founded in the south of Andalusia in order to prepare monks and nuns who were going to preach and convert those areas colonised by Christopher Columbus. The convent was converted into a fully air-conditioned hotel which opened in 2003 and now comprises a total of 35 rooms. Facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, lift access, wi-fi in common areas, cafe and a restaurant. All rooms come with a fully fitted en suite bathroom, TV, direct dial telephone, a safe, as well as individually adjustable air-conditioning and heating. Some of them have an unrivalled view of the cathedral and its Giralda Tower. The hotel also offers a suite with a balcony where guests can appreciate watching some of the brotherhood from the unique Seville Holy Week as they pass by. The suite also offers a hydro-massage bath. Guests may enjoy the coffee bar and the Meson Don Raimundo restaurant, a veritable museum specializing in Andalusian and Mozarabic ancestral cuisine, with capacity of more than 250 people, both open daily for lunch and dinner.
